John & April Serio
John and April met in Bible College in Dallas, Texas, and have been married since 1992. They began full-time ministry in 1993 and have served as youth pastors, associate pastors, church planters, and senior pastors. They have 3 children and 3 grandsons and love this city of Colorado Springs. Pastors John and April recognize that God does more when people work together rather than separate, so they believe in a team led ministry style. Both have a heart for the lost and hurting, and April serves the city as a Marketplace Chaplain, ministering in businesses across our great city. Together their desire is to see people connect to God, others, and themselves and grow in their spiritual journey. "We hope you join us as we walk together."

Jeff and Carol joined Springs Journey Church in March 2016 after moving from Tucson, AZ following Jeff’s retirement from the U.S. Air Force. They are both veterans and have been blessed to live in five countries and seven states. Their travels have given them a deep appreciation of God’s people all around the world. Moving to Colorado was in their words, “A total God thing since Colorado Springs was never on our radar.”
Jeff and Carol have teamed up in numerous ministry positions over the past 32 years, including that of youth pastors, associate pastors at various locations, and senior pastors of a church they founded while in California. In addition to being Springs Journey’s Associate Pastor, Jeff also leads the Men’s Ministry. Carol is honored to serve as the church’s office administrator and as an associate minister, as well as on the worship team.

Andrea began attending Springs Journey in December 2017 after moving to Colorado Springs from Tucson, AZ. Making the move was something she “never saw coming” and was seemingly outside of her plans. Obviously, the Lord had other plans and Colorado has been a huge source of blessing and a wonderful surprise!
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre from the University of Arizona and is passionate about the arts both inside and outside the church.
